A friend of mine served in A’stan. They got in a firefight on a mission and their female Lt. had a mental breakdown and just curled up in a ball. Have you ever gone full Atkins? Once when I was toting my ass over to Europe and Asia for 2 week biz trips I put on a lot of extra weight, way too much rich food and drinking, and no time to work out, zero.
put on an extra 30 lbs. Did true Atkins for one month lost all the 30- true Atkins is basically meat, cheese, eggs. Maybe 20 grams of carbs per day, max, and those carbs better be vegs. No diet you eat 3 squares and snack on hard boiled eggs or jerky, whatever. Never got hungry and the pounds dropped off.
Yes the first week my energy was a bit off but not much and then rest of month was awesome.

What Hegseth is facing is that there is not a soul within D0D above the rank of 0-4 or 0-5 who did not totally buy into the Obama/Biden new world conspiracy. Where in God’s name is he going to find competent, honest, battle-experienced, and loyal people to fill all the slots that need to be vacated ASAP? I got a purple heart and Bronze Star in ‘Nam 55 years ago, but I spent the last 15 years of my career as a trainer, tech intel guy, and card-carrying REMF. The services need people like that, too, but where can we find good ones we want to keep around who haven’t been the spawn of the “System”?
