Sorry About That…. I’m Back.

Greetings and Salutations
Yeeeeeeah… I had step waaaay awayto adjust my ‘timing and headspace’ as things around here got a wee bit depressing. A LOT of different things that just pretty much left me utterly mentally drained. To the point I even quit drinking completely.

Which is a plus, but not conducive to my creativity as a little ‘synaptic lubrication’ via some ethanol intake makes it a wee bit easier to cogitate some of my ‘stuff’ when I put the fingers to the keyboard. So, I had to ‘reset’ the thinking meat back into the ‘on’ position…

I’m really sorry to have freaked y’all out.

It makes me feel really appreciated and I thank you all for the concern. To the point I got a text from her (as she is checking this thing on occasion) saying y’all were wondering if she tried to poison me. Nope. Not the case. She did come by and gather a bunch of her stuff w/her brother (he’s a great dude for a Navy guy), which left quite a few open ‘holes’ around the house… furniture and whathaveyou which was part of the bummer, as I know it’s done-done now.

Hence my radio silence.
However, I am resilient so onward.
The other things that have gone on around the world as of late have been so utterly insane as to leave even one normally loquacious sumbitch such as myself as to be speechless. LOTS of weirdness… One of the only things (outside of SecWar’s speech, which I’ll go into in a bit) that I’ve been closely monitoring has been the prices of silver and gold.

Currently, as of this moment, silver:

Which is down from an all time high of $48.22 at opening today at 08:13EST. And gold? Hoo boy…

Which is down from an all time high of$3908.90.

The fact that they’ve gone down as it did tells me -someone- intentionally tried to get it to go into a slide. I’ve monitored precious metals since I was a kid. DeadDad and MomUnit got Fedbro and myself into it at a young age as a way for us to ‘invest’ our $$$. Instead of buying stupid shit when we got $50.00 from Grandma for Christmas, we’d either save up for a one ounce Gold Coin or get a few ounces of silver.

Man… selling that shit oh so many years ago…
Young and dumb I was…
I had amassed quite a treasure chest worth of coins from back in those days… like 75 ounces of silver and like 5 ounces of gold… in American Eagles, Maple Leaves and one China Panda. After Spawn #1 was born, and I had gotten out of the Army, I sold it all in 1996 for what by today’s standard was a fucking pittance (like $200 per oz for the gold and $8-10 for the silver) but I needed the cash at the time, so hey… It’s only money.

By today’s standard that would have been a LOT of money…$3500 in silver and $19k worth of gold…

Ugh.

It is what it is.
I’m debating on getting a tattoo of that on my chest in 3 inch boldface font… I swear I am….

The killer is even now, those prices, accounting for the fake and ghey markets and manipulation of inflationary standards, gold and silver have always been sorely underestimated and undervalued. It’s intentional as when we were on a true one-for-one silver and gold standard for money, and not the current “Money Printer Go BRRRT!” fiatbux the economy was faaar more stable and operative. There is, outside of some insane jubilee (never going to happen IMO) or a conversion over to some electronic bullshit crypto-coin (what they appear to want to have happen) the economy is on it’s last legs.

Myself, I think we’re going to keep seeing a sloooow unwind.

Of everything.

The economy, morals, laws… you name it.

It’s going to be more “Bladerunner” than “Mad Max” I think… Leastways I also hope it’s that… that’d be better than “The Day After” for damned sure…

Now…
Pete Hegseth, love him or hated him gave a “Out with the fatasses” speech to the 800 oh so fat and worthless senior “Perfumed Princes on the Potomac” aka Generals and Senior NCOs in a meeting. He came right out and said the Warrior Spirit is going to be first and foremost on the new agenda, and anyone not onboard was welcome to GTFO.

Not a bad speech IMO.

And what do you know?

The four star, the Vice Chairman of the US Air Force Global Strike Command up and retired the next day.

One down, several to go.

I will give the guy credit however… he didn’t come right out against anything that was said in the speech… he didn’t burn any bridges per se. In fact this retirement maybe for personal and family reasons… but personally I think it has more to do with the regulations regarding his retirement…

Which a LOT of these fucktards seem to be forgetting about.

Miley could be and needs to be stripped of his retirement for treason which is exactly what he did when he went behind OrangeManBad’s back and told his counterpart General Joe Chink that he’d warn the chinks if OMB was going to try something with them… That’s fucking treason.

And as a retarded Gen’rul, he should know he can still be called back to active duty and charged with treason, stripped of ALL his retirement, rank, and in this case, put up against a wall and shot. Which in this case I think that fat fuck deserves no less.

Because Fuck That Guy.

So yeah… that’s about as much ‘steam’ as I have for today.
Again sorry to worry you guys so much but hey… sometimes a dood gets wore the fuck out. I’ll try to do better

And to the fuckers commenting on the cleanliness of the kitchen? Considering the maid has been gone for a while, yeah, its a wee bit funky, but fuck it… we used to drink from garden hoses and eat dirt when I was a kid, never mind how nasty it was in Iraq, so this ain’t shit. GFY.

  1. Glad you are OK BCE, I think people were mostly worried about your health as you had the crud and you’ve issues with your lungs in the past.

Shrinks say (and it’s true) that when going through a divorce, you are going through the death of a relationship and therefore go through the 5 stages of grief.
They are: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.

It sounds like you went through the Depression phase and are now on Acceptance.
It sucks but that’s sunshine on the horizon and once this all done and over, happier days are ahead.

  2. Glad the keel is still in the water, now to gather a good wind for the sails and head for Silver Harbor.
Yeah, I was navy in an odd way and Silver Harbor is allegorical as well as my current favorite watering hole just in case you ever end up in SW Michigan.

  3. Hey Big Guy, I also did the “where did he go” routine a few days ago but mine was 4 days in the hospital for a mysterious gut pain. Advanced both end probing had them scratching their collective heads as to what it was. The tube up the nose was a new experience for pain, annoyance, collective gagging, waterboarding the breathing and auditory hallucinations from the morphine. I think you had a better time.

Please take care of your self as no one else will. The collective cadre of misfits not withstanding, look to one’s own house, own the break up and move one.

    Spin

  4. Good to see you back at it. I was mostly concerned the flu like shit you posted about before your hiatus gave you a real ass kicking, and ended up putting you in the hospital. Other potential scenarios also cropped up, far fetched as some may have been.

Between economic pressures (cost of living) and the even greater the usual amount of bad news, shit has gotten downright insane lately, and it’s wearing on me (and I suspect many others). One metric that I’m judging by is the generally reduced amount of commenting on blogs and online forums I read.

Posts about the day to day crime and bullshit are seeing less engagement now, as I think there is a lot of burnout. A big event like Charlie Kirk getting popped still gets a lot of comments, but less significant stories are seeing many fewer comments than was typical several months ago. Not a scientific measure by any means, but definitely a noticeable trend. People are pulling back from social media, and online engagement in general, which may not be a bad thing.

Now we wait and see what the next crisis to be conjured up will be, as the left gears up their outrage machine over the shutdown, and potential for the bad orange man to exploit it for purposes of gutting more bloat. I’ll believe that actually happens when I see it, but it doesn’t even need to happen for insane leftists to use it as a casus belli to start some more shit (shootings, bombings, etc.) as they perceive their way of doing things – and their very existence – further threatened. Brace for that, because it’s coming.

  5. Welcome back, we’re all happy to give you as much room as you need as long as you keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. As for the General, as tough as it is for us, I think we need to let him slink away with his skin. ON THE CONDITION that he’s truly out. No “hanging out with the old crew”, no playing as kingmaker on the side, no “keeping up with things.” Fishing, time with the grandkids, hanging out in park bathrooms at 2am, whatever it is he does that is NOT sedition. Because one whiff of sticking his beak back in, and yes, recommission, brief court martial and up against the wall.
For the first ones that leave voluntarily. As soon as we have to tell them to leave, it’s up against the wall.

  6. Glad to hear you’re still kicking.

A wise old cracker once told me “if it was easy, any asshole could do it!”
