There’s also a lot of talk out there saying that 48-72 hours Iran is going to get nuked by the Izzies. I got nothing on that, but I just thought I’d mention it. FAR too many mentions IMO which generally means the “Hivemind” knows something… Personally I’m ambivalent. As long as McDill doesn’t take a live round I’m a happy MF’er. And IF something like that should happen? Well HOPEFULLY they’re a wee off target and drops closer to me than away. I’m in the ‘not immediately smoked’ circle if say the Ivans or Joe Chink drop a BIG ONE on SOCOM/CENTCOM. Rather it hit RTF on top of meself and go out in a flash.

Last time I saw something like that was a fren in High School who had his great-grandads “Flock Gun”also called a “Punt Gun”:

They used to use them to take out like up to 50+ birds at once, hence the “Flock Gun” name. Some measurements say that it could fire up to one POUND of shot. To make the comparison, a standard shotty birdshot round usually uses about 1.5oz of shot.

My fren blew the front end off the ancient rowboat he had his mount to when he “max elevated” it and fired it… the wood just shattered all to bits and the boat sunk in the marsh.

We recovered the cannon but man that was some nasty dirty muddy work… the boat? Not so much… I think it’s still in the marsh if it hasn’t rotted completely away…

I got an appointment w/the toofus doc… going to get the evaluation THEN decide on a course of action. I might be taking some of y’all up on offers to get me into Mex-hee-co if that’s the best route financially.
I can catch a Frontiers overnight layover for about $250, with the hotel at the airport being $90. Like I said, I have to see what I’m dealing with. If a yank and pull is cheapest, then fuck it… already got like 3 chompers pulled… maybe get something down the road in Mexico? We’ll see.

    1. Yes, they do. If you look at the international markets, however (Shanghai and Mumbai) gold was still reported over 5K/oz and silver over $11o/oz yesterday, 01/30. The (((Bankster))) manipulation here will blow up in their faces. My tribe and I are prepping for a looming bank holiday before the end of March. Given the stupidity of Americans, the panic will be epic. Plan accordingly. Bleib ubrig.

  3. For teeth pain, my dentist recommended taking 3 Tylenol and 3 Advil together.
    After my molar was pulled (which even with local anesthesia hurt like a Mofo), I gave that a shot and it helped ALOT.

    Have the dentist give you an assessment and then a quote. Pulling them should NOT be more than $400/tooth. If you need some shekels then let us know and many of us will help out.

    Tooth pain like that is the 3rd worst pain that I’ve ever felt. Second was passing a kidney stone and first was shattering my lower leg ala Joe Thiesman playing football.

      1. May I suggest a pair of Lineman pliers just like mom used to use. They have a nice cross-hatch pattern that helps to prevent slippage and improve grippage. Save the chunks, they’re redeemable with the Toothfaggot if you slip them under your pillow.

  4. long time lurker here, clove oil is your friend. dip a q-tip in some clove oil and rub it on the tooth and the gum. do that twice a day and within a day or two the pain and infection is gone. when there is no dentist (shtf) everyone should have clove oil as a prep. at your age, just get em pulled out (unless its those pretty ones in the front). im down to 16 teeth left and i get along just fine 🙂

  7. Punt guns indeed. Looks like you got that photo from the same Wiki article I’m reading. I recall reading about hunting in the California Central Valley flyway. They would silently glide in their punt (boat) within range of a flock of birds sitting on the water. They would fire a pistol shot to spook the birds off the water, and immediately fire the punt gun. I think the record kill for a single shot was 500+ birds.

  8. University dental schools sometimes run clinics at reduced or zero cost, if there is one in your area. Otherwise, a contingency plan for the Mexico option might be worth thinking about. I stared at the two pics for a while. Soldier has a gap between front teeth that does not appear on the other guy. Also ears some look…a little…different. Not the best photos to compare for those features. I’d probably put some reliance on Grok, but in my interactions, I have noted some errors in its conclusions. Read that Turkey rolled up some ostensibly Iranian guys surveilling the Incirlik airbase. We keep some “stuff” there. MacDill would be hard, IMO. It’s 10 degrees F where I am, but I sympathize…

  14. When I was in middle school in the early 60s, Dad built wooden boxes around the cellar windows. My job was to dig sand out of a nearby hill and put it in the boxes. At that time, Dad was a radar engineer working on the Nike missile system. It turns out I grew up under a Red overcast, and I don’t care for the tint of the sky right now.

  16. I worked in a cement shipping facility that once took the raw cement (called clinker) cooked it in a gas fired kiln, and the finished product was then shipped. There were still some old-timers employed, and one of the jobs in the past was to sit in chair by a view-port, which allowed seeing into the cement as it tumbled down the kiln, and blasting balls of clinker with a mounted 8 gauge shotgun. Some might call it a mindless task, but others would have considered it the dream job they never had.

    1. Even a dream job can get old. For example: At the Barrett factory in Tennessee, they have an indoor one lane range. Someone test fires every rifle they make. Maybe there’s a couple guys. But even shooting a fitty or a .416 a few dozen times a day has to get old .

  18. Don’t mess around with your teeth. Even if you have to get a payday loan at 29% interest get your teeth taken care of by a professional dentist. You can always default on the loan. Your teeth and mouth are important.
    Hell tell the dental staff that you are broke. They will set you up on a payment plan. Their whole profession is to fix tooth problems then get paid. They won’t turn you away.

  19. VA dentist not an option? Kind of depends, I reckon. You might be better off going to Mexico. All my nieces and nephews went to an orthodontist in Nogales, Mexico and all have nice straight teeth now. The dentist in Palomas, Mexico, across from Columbus, went to school in the US and lives in the US. One of my sisters goes to a dentist in Naco, Mexico. Another couple I know drive down from Colorado to have their dentures done at the same dentist.

    Anyway, there’s no shortage of dentists who like to be paid in US fiatbux in Mexico. You may even be able to wrangle a better deal paying in silver, too.

    1. The VA won’t do anything more than emergency care, but that’s better than nothing. Get Primary care to schedule some kind of an invasive procedure; simple surgery is best. Doesn’t matter if one actually goes through with the work, the main thing is to get cleared by dental, which means they will pull the teeth and stabilize the gums. Might not be pretty, but dental bacteria is the worst and will kill in a horrible fashion if it can. If the patient has an internal implant, say a replaced joint, then the problem is acute. Definitely don’t want to put it off.

  20. Had one extracted in Hungary a year or so back. I think I paid 50 Euro for it, but he broke off a piece of the next tooth levering it. Had an implant done after. That was not so cheap. I think it cost 1500 Euro.

  21. In NE Ogio we have a place called Axesspoint. Low cost medical and dental for low income folks. Yank a tooth for $65 last time. That was 2 years ago. There has to be a place like that around you.

    Also-stay away from the quarterly reporting periods. Even the experts say they can’t guess what any stock will do.
