    1. My initial thoughts as well. Normal people don’t desire to jump on a grenade. It’s an instinct that kicks in because we love life, we value our brothers lives. It comes from a generational value of service and sacrifice cultivated by being part of something greater, to preserve.

  15. Instead of escalation by the Feds, this would be an excellent chance to experiment with a peaceful seccession from the US. Minnesota could get their wish and be removed from the Union. They wouid no longer need to pay federal taxes and would no longer receive a dime from the Federal Government. US passports for Minnesota citizens would be revoked (MN could issue their own). All Federal facilities would be closed and all Fedral employees either relocated of laid off. Minnesota becomes a seperate nation. They no longer have two senators or any representatives in Congress. No Federal laws apply in Minnesota and their citizens can enter the US under the same rules as an entry from Canada. Let’s see how that works. Does Minnesota need the US more than the US needs Minnesota? If it works we would have a blueprint to use with other leftist states. Red states could also use the process. The US is over anyway, let’s get going on the new map.

Two that I saw clearly saw an agent remove his weapon and go across the street with it and then the shooter fired multiple times into his back.           Irrespective of all that, the state of Minnesota, the city of Minneapolis, Walz and Frey personally in their capacites as government officials (among others) are now all in a state of open rebellion towards the Federal Government, and since the federal supremacy clause stands, Trump needs to send forces in there and kick asses, whether the insurrection act is invoked or not (and it damn well should be).

          Failing that, and if this is allowed to go on unchecked, we will have a defacto state of no rule of law that will have other cities and states doing the same (staging violent, organized insurgencies) in short order until there is no chance of containment, short of overwhelming military force going in and gunning down everything that moves. I really don’t understand what Trump is thinking by letting this shit go, he has to know it leads to the end of the country as a going concern, to the destruction of his legacy (which his ego so desperately desires to cement), and very likely himself personally, as these shits will kill him once they have consolidated enough power and control to get to him. We know the playbook being run here, it is a matter of historical record.

          Faced with a lose-lose situation, one should always chose the path that at least assures the destruction of some portion of their enemies. Trump can go down as the president who declared open season on an insurrection, and eventually ended the US (which I believe is inevitable anyway) thus marring his legacy, and quite possibly ending his life, or he can go down as the guy who pussed out and let an insurrection overrun the country, thereby wrecking his legacy and almost certainly leading to his death by execution at the hands of the insurrectionists. Pretty obvious which option should be pursued, is it not?

          At this stage, it is no longer about maintaining his perceived popularity and poll numbers, nor is it even about protecting the fake and gay economy by trying to keep the stock market pumped. He is now facing an existential crisis which will very likely mean the end of the country and his presidency, before the end of his term, by failing to bust heads. So what does he have to lose by trying?

  19. In regards to Red State vs blue state.

    The country is not a monolithic block and states are now the same. Minnesota is a huge state and a quick electoral map check of the 2024 election shows a few blue islands and a sea of red, like many, many states. The only weird thing for Minnesota is the Iron Range which for some reason is still blue despite everything, that area most likely doomed the state over the decades.

    Other than that the blue island and sea of red pattern holds up in many states like Minnesota, Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Pennsylvania, and on and on.

    You have to look at things on the county level now. Red state blue state does not really work anymore.
    Hell, part of Virginia is talking about leaving and joining west Virginia. Its really being though out on the county level.

    This fraud in Minnesota is driven by the blue islands and there is no reason to punish the rest of the state because of corrupt democrat lairs.

    As far as the Trump admin goes, exercise power and take care of this, or just fucking loose already. They did this same shit in 2020.
