   The shooter knew enough to recce a suitable vantage point and had established infil and exfil routes (likely days in advance), knew the proper range of his mark from his vantage point and, most importantly, was on target. Although IMHO, I think it’s entirely possible the shooter was going for a head shot but was maybe off a few clicks for elevation.

   But still. This was no amateur. Maybe not top shelf talent, but this shooter definitely knew more than the average bear when it came to this sort of wetwork.

   I would not be surprised if the shooter, when eventually located, is not found alive.

      Yep… depending on the ‘dope’ dialed into the scope, the angle might have caused some issues for the shooter, i.e. aiming AT the middle of the nugget, but impacting 3 inches lower, which is common for a non=pro shooter… The exfil that I can tell -so far- seems to be clean. We DO NOT have a legit shooter that has been identified, which tells me a couple of things, one of which is that the shooter’s ID is SO utterly explosive (rabid trannie/fag/whathaveyou flavor-of-the-week oppressed’ or the like) that they are going to be DESPERATE to keep that quiet

         1. I doubt it, but it is quite possible. They had these guys in custody and released them relatively quickly. If law enforcement had any reason to believe either of these guys were involved, even on the peripheral, they would have kept them in custody.

            Didn’t help that there were only six cops on site to assist with event security at the time of the shooting for a crowd of 3000 people. Judging from that, I’d guess the threat assessment for the event was relatively low.

            It’s likely the police and Kirk’s own security people were anticipating any likely immediate threats from the crowd, which is probably why they muckled on to Old Man Winter so quickly. I doubt they were even looking at the rooftops for possible threats.

7. I find it eerie that today I went with my mom to swap out the flowers (a quite nice fall themed bouquet for each) at my grandparents grave…both sets paternal and maternal. Took about 2.5 hours round trip. Maybe, maybe not. The footage did appear to show the armor ‘printing’ through his shirt, but how as hard an outline as a hard plate (steel?) might show. I’d be surprised if he was wearing a steel plate, just for the spall risk, let alone the weight and it’s REAL hard to conceal. I just didn’t think a bullet would ricochet up off the edge of a ceramic plate (although I’ll grant that it might – I just haven’t seen this in any testing), and I don’t think a kevlar aka ‘soft’ armor would induce a ricochet like that. Yes, this whole thing just doesn’t smell right – even now that ‘the shooter’ has been turned in by family. I mean, has anyone else seen the picture of the rifle w/mounted scope? 21. Very good analysis. I watched an X video about a dozen times trying to guess the caliber of the round. No mention of that anywhere. It was a flat crack, so I thought .223/5.56 from a distance (I thought from the front). I did not think a bigger round as the report would be different. I did not think .300 BO or suppressed…good hypothesis on your part. A suppressor adds length to the barrel and makes it harder to conceal while running away, but since it was only one shot and not too hot, the shooter could take it off while fleeing. I doubt we will get much ~official~ details, so I hope your info/intel channels keep feeding you. Damn shame…bad week…first the pics of that poor girl and now this.

I saw a piece on gab in one of the comments that said frame by frame it and the ring on his ring finger moves to the pinky at the moment of the shot in some of the vids.     As to the shot itself, as an avid deer hunter, I was raised the higher you are the lower to hold as you will always shoot high either uphill or downhill. Something about the math I never really understood but it works for me. Maybe it was a neck shot, or just maybe it hit high and he was aiming at center mass. Tin foil hat, then asks the question. If he had on a vest and was expected to survive and then oops got him in the neck?

24. I saw the shooting from a different angle. Definitely heard the shot in the video I watched. In fact there was even a slight delay – Charlie got hit first then the shot was heard a fraction of a second later. The 200 yard range looks like an accurate estimate from what I saw.

FFS, Marine recruit rifle training with iron sights starts at 200Y, and most of them get 14 or 15 bullseyes without even using the prone position. This was a bog-simple shot, provided it wasn’t his first time behind the trigger. 0 points.
    10) Guy carries the weapon to the woods, but didn’t have a prepared hole there to bury it rapidly and without a trace and make it disappear forever? No plan for that. 10 Fucktard points.
    11) No gloves on when he climbed off the roof, so he left palm prints? Another 20 Fucktard points.
    12) Escaped through woods, probably after a rapid costume change, and got away. 5 points.
