I mean by all rights this week -should- be good because it’s a four day I would thing? However the Universe has other ideas, so y’all get Memes for tonight:

Side note on that one: Up an hour North of Tampa there’s actually a classic Pizza Hut with all of that, plus (from what I heard) table top video Galaga and a salad bar!!! One of these days I’m going to have to make the trip up there for nostalgia’s sake.

    1. Don’t worry so much about that 11B and 0311 thing. I’m 11B, and I think that makes me pals with any and all vets of any service or job. Being a crusty vet should make one more amenable to the so-called brotherhood of arms, including the females, and anyone not crazy or criminal.

        there are so many vets who would stab you and me in the back just because they are jealous they were never real soldiers… face it. when you think of soldiers you think of 11b’s or 0311’s and that the truth. the rest are fucking jealous because they didn’t have the balls to put it ‘all on the line’ and that’s something they cannot ever change. i was taught there are 2 jobs in the military combat and support- P.E.R.I.O.D.

          when i was going thru the VA process of comp & pension i was Blue Falcon’d 3 fucking times by a former USCG E-9, USN E-7, and USA E-7. every one of those bastards monkey wrenched my paper work to set me back a total of 4 solid years. the little time i spent as a tourist still amounted to more than their entire careers. 2 MOS’s, parachutist, air assault, and certified instructor. they were so proud of never having been article 15’d…. i had 1 field grade on the way out, and still feel damn proud to have been able to get that lick in. LOL

          1. How the hell did these REMFs get so damn powerful, tfA-t? By sucking up to politicals (which I imagine is pretty much any general with more than one or two stars)? And yeah, the stories I’ve heard on here from a good many vets shows a pattern of abuse and neglect of actual combat veterans. It really pisses me off and doesn’t seem to be changing much with the current admin.

  7. On the “Stages of a Veteran”, there is the right after EAS phase where you grow your hair long, grow a beard and want nothing to do with the military.

    Then 10 years later comes the “Moto Phase” where all of a sudden you get a license plate with your branch on it, start getting moto bumper stickers and become the “moto guy” on chat boards. 🙂

    1. I never got into the “motoguy” I don’t have Army plate or stickers on Army or any of that crap. I only have one bumper sticker on the back of my truck, Warning! Ornery Bastard on Board. I got rid of any of my uniform, wore out the fatigue jacket and wool gloves and haven’t felt the need to replace them. I was 95B/31D back in the day(1974/1980)

        1. Yup. Got rid of all my Class-A stuff and gave a lot of my 11B stuff to one of my students who joined the Oregon NG to get money for college. I still keep a few needful things around that would be useful when the balloon goes up. But I really miss my M-79! Bleib ubrig.

    2. i’ve been arrested in that city… i ended up getting fined and put on non reporting probation. seems i stepped on a bigshots toes back in the late 80’s when i first started a mobile truck wash and they trumped up a bogus misdemeanor charge…………
