Greetings and Salutations!
Picked up the Cop-Trade in ‘fantastic plastic’ Grock after slaving at the unmerciless Glorious People’s Tractor Factory or else!!! for the day… SHE also made an appearance but more later on that…. no one died or went to jail leastways So anyways… the weapon in question:
You tell me:

And then the flip side:

Annnnnnnnnnnd as I said, Cheap AF:

So yeah
I may as well have stole the damned thing.
The price doesn’t show as it was sold out BUT:

$397.73, with three mags in that good a shape, out the door?
Yep… I stole it apparently.
We’ll get in these issues later. I’m exhausted, doing well ( no worries) but just seriously behind in my ZZZZ count.
I also have a long-term project I finally got done with, but thats for later…
Literally More Later

Not bad. I carried a Gen 4 GLOCK for awhile, before I jumped ship. The metal guide rod/recoil spring is a great improvement over the plastic one in the Gen 1 – 3 models.
You may or may not want to invest in some grip sleeves or do something about the stippling on the frame. You spend a day on the range with the pistol as-is and you’ll feel it.
Big, if you want a grip sleeve let me know here and I’ll reach out by email. I have one for my G21 I didn’t like and dont use that I can send you. It made the grip too big for me.
The Hogue sleeve for that frame with the beaver tail extension works very well for the larger gen 3’s, especially for folks with larger hands, but I prefer the stippled frame as it’s slimmer
Tungsten guide rod is an easy fix, and apex makes a nice drop in trigger for the gen 3
I’ll be honest, I know Glocks are good guns and popular but me personally I just don’t like the way they feel when they shoot. I much prefer my Baretta 9mm or a Colt 45 for target shooting.
That said for a pack gun, due to the weight a Glock is great. You don’t want to carry a heavy pistol around all day and a Glock is perfect for packing. Also if you have to pull that gun out of the holster, who gives a shit how it feels shooting as long as it shoots and is on target.
Nice gun, congrats and the way the World is going you’ll be glad that you are packing it.
yeah, they feel weird to me as well. and there the hammer thing. I like seeing a hammer on my guns
handguns anyway. the whole striker fired thing just doesn’t work for me. but hey, I am a old fart anyway. sounds like she didn’t make it past the front door. GOOD FOR YOU !
any and all shit she left there, she can pick up OUTSIDE the front door.
and this is why you need/have to move after the big D. she will keep coming back. trying to get back inside. and if she like most. she now knows she done fucked up and wants back inside where she can “feel” safe again. really dude. you are going to have to move out of there.
this will never end otherwise.
You got a steal.
I have a Taurus Millennium Pro in .45. Have some 14 round mags for it but found it was too heavy for carry for me. Used to be my truck gun but once the riots started I upgraded.
Anyway, when I do carry it I load six in a ten rounder with one in the chamber and carry two 14 round mags as reloads.
This is when I’m on the road as a backup to the truck gun.
If I have to go to Tampa or somewhere like that I have a small 9mm that is my carry.
Otherwise, I never go anywhere even to check the mail without my LCR on me.
BTW the Taurus will eat anything I feed it and has been utterly reliable. Will it have the life span of a Glock? Nah, probably not. But it will last me for the rest of my days.
My Dad left behind a Colt .38 Police Positive made in 1907. I would love to use it as a carry but there is too much play in the cylinder because the teeth on the ejector are worn. Bad things could happen. Is it fixable or is it now merely a relic?
Talk to a competent gunsmith. Any info you get online is only worth what you paid for it.try to find an old gunsmith.
Unfortunately they’re getting more scarce… In fact -I’m- locally starting to be known as the new/olderish Gunsmith
Look Patriot Get Rid Of That Plastic Hitler Gun And Get A 1911 They Won Both World Wars On Their Own Plus What Would Any REAL Gun Owner Want With A Gun That Holds More Than Seven Bullets In The Magazine Clip Anyway??? And Never Carry A Spare Mag If You Run Out That Is Just Saint John Moses Browning’s Way Of Telling YOU That YOU Really Messed Up!1!1!1!1 God Bless Israel And REAL President Donald Trump TRUMP1!1!1!1
+1 for “plastic hitler gun”
Yeah that is a new classic
It is unlikely to be the cylinder ratchet – without seeing it it might be out of time.
Colts like that go out of time by the hand wearing and then the bolt if it gets really bad.
The way to check a Colt’s timing is to drop the hammer and while keeping the trigger pinned to the rear try and move the cylinder – it should have no movement. The hand, which is attached directly to the trigger, is pushing up and forward (via that 2nd step/undercut) on the ratchet when it is aligned and firing.
This is an ok demonstration

If you pull the hammer back and check it like a Smith type action you will get a false negative.
I have a few Colt DAs including a New Police, a Police Positive Special, and a Cobra (the old Al framed one not the new one)
Doing it as he does, it has a good 1/8″ play and I can almost advance it to the next chamber. If I cock the hammer and pull the trigger, it has no play.
you truly are a pedo loving retard.
???
You got something to back that up or are you just spitting slime.
lololol another trumptard that cant come up with an independent thought.
Another Israel cuck.
Is this THE Kitler?
1911s are quaint antiques. A Glock is a good example of how modern guns are made and there not a single element of comparison where the Glock doesn’t beat the 1911.
Someone needs to invent a holster that fits to the front of your driver’s seat between your legs. Been looking around but haven’t found anything.
Found one on EBay, inexpensive. Keep a G19 and two mags in it. Put a seat cover on and it covers the rig.
Have had several….the last from Alien Gear holsters.
Glocks are like mopeds and fat chicks…..chick’s…… fun to play with but don’t let your buddy’s see you doing it.
Seriously though, every Glock I’ve worked shoots a little low and left. Other than that, the damn thing never quits. It will always go bang, no matter what. Always.
Unless you’ve put them in a Ransom Rest or equivalent to verify…it’s not the Glock; it’s you.
Glocks are incredibly ugly guns that are accurate enough, incredibly reliable, and I have no problem dumping them in the river afterwards if the situation dictates…
I’ve seen a few happy sticks for the G21. 28ish? Round capacity. Normally see them at the local gun show. Might want to pick up a few, just in case.
She hurt your dog. If she shows up call the police. There is NOTHING good going to happen if you interact. And a lot bad.
I envy you. Just buying a gun.
I wish we could do the same in Germany.
But unless I am willing to sell out to the destroyers and become a member or parliament I have no chance of ever even touching a gun again.
And no, I even dont think of the “bad” ways.
So, please, if you come to Germany a third time (after 1918 and 1945) could you please give us a 2nd Amendment, too?
(For those wondering about the 3rd time: On http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2025/07/from_carthage_to_berlin_a_modest_proposal.html
I found the article: “From Carthage To Berlin, A Modest Proposal”
While as a German I hate the destruction of Germany, the writer is accurate about Merkel, von der Leyen and Schwab. )
Hey BC.
Do me a favor and shoot me an email with
instructions on how to make out the check
and an addy or PO box to send it to. Uncle
Sugar will cough up my SS on one of the
next two Wednesdays and I’ll slide you a
little cash to help with the SP’s recovery.
Thanks.

The G21 might be the best Glock.
Back in the 90’s, a friendly associate, Rocky the Seal, joined the most active police department in our area as a reservist, before retiring as a Chief something) After retirement he went full time. His department chief was VERY liberal about what his guys carried. Because of his departments proximity to Tijuana, they had lots of gang bangers, so having an adequate, 1st response, side arm was a good idea. He’s a dedicated 1911 guy, but, you don’t want to be doing mag change drills in the middle of unplesantries.
After shooting his G21, I got one. A 14 shot, 45 acp is a comfort when things go sideways. He carried 4 mags (one is none, on steroids), so he had 70 rounds of 45 on tap (hey, he’s a GWOT, combat vet). He’s also 6’2″, 230 pounds and never stopped doing weights and training, since high school.
The gang bangers ended up liking him, because he was fair and could talk to ANYBODY without getting emotional or ego stricken. They tagged him Robocop, because he looked and sounded like a robot if he had to chase you down. They would eventually run out of gas, he never did. He never had to shoot anyone before they medically retired him out with a ball jointless, humerus.
After a big, on duty brawl with a tweeker, he had to get a routine med check up. X Rays showed he had no upper ball joint. He didn’t know, because you train through the pain.
From him I learned, among other things, “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.” He was fine with that, he had no disability because of it, so he wanted to keep working, but city lawyers said “You’re OUT!”, with 100% medical retirement.
A good man. He’s probably a contractor making good bucks these days.
Getting a G21 with 3 mags for $397 is definitely a steal deal!
“Pain is fear leaving the body” is what I was taught
That and unless you’re bleeding from the eyeballs or asshole, and you have ZERO extra holes that you started with, you’re probably fine
Dude sounds like me back in the day…
Bro, I just gotta tell you and give kudos, your writing is BAAACK! In the recent past it may have suffered a touch, quite understandable now though. I also have a feeling a lot of your all too common gastro issues will be a thing of the past. Relationship shit fucks with more than your head, for a fact. Glad you are doing better, life is too short for that noise.
Delta Mike
Just as a heads up – saw this on another site:
https://taskandpurpose.com/news/army-special-operations-warning/
Just FYI. If you have a Glock blue label dealer near you, veterans are eligible for Glocks at blue label prices. Earlier this year Glock 21 we’re going for 425 with 3 mags. G19 et al were 399.
life is way too short and much too long not to have a good time as you tap dance thru it.
yup. came up with that one after looking thru the green glass of many beer bottles.
never got a post card from anyone who “crossed over ” either.
do I think there is a big JUJU or something like God. yes. without any doubt.
there no way in the world we came up with the wonderful world/space as it is.
believe what you want too. I think like my grandmother did. if I want to “talk” with God,
take a walk in the woods, sit and talk. there nothing manmade out there to get in your way.
it really peaceful in the deep woods. just saying. whatever works for you.
Dammit man! Not a G fan, but that’s a heckuva deal. I’m a 1911 man (45 acp of course), but I’d hit that with no problem. Happy fer ya, Bro.
As far as the soon to be ex goes, all I’ll say is – be careful – puhleeze! BTDT. Don’t know that I could be helpful, but if’n I can, I’m at yer disposal.
Yer almost neighbor,
Mike in Cent FLA.
Okay–I’ve endured the tales of the Enfields, now a Glock?! You’ll shoot your eye out.
“Endured!”
You slant eyed heathen!!!
On the field of honor at Dawn Sir! Coffee and Pistols!
On the glock subject.
Never liked the Euro grip angle. Had a 1911A1 for
decades, it points a lot more naturally for me. Also
used to sweeping the safety off, it’s muscle memory.
Gaston shoulda put a grip safety on his Hitler guns,
yes, I’m stealing that. A safety on a trigger is no
safety at all. Yes, Glocks have other safeties but
the trigger is it when someone is touching it. My
current EDC is a Smith EZ 9 with the manual safety.
Need more mags for it, only have 6 and they are 8
rounds.
I like 100ish rounds in mags for combat semi autos.
Got 6 15 rounders for my Cougar for 96. Got only 5
for my 92XI but 2 are 17s and 3 are 30s for 124. I’m
happy with those numbers and have enough to account for
mag failures.
I carry a Taurus six shot J-frame sometimes with six
speed strips. Slower than my speedloaders but not much
if you practice. Little known factoid. S&W and Taurus
were both owned by Bangor Punta for 7 years in the 70s.
A “lot” of technology sharing happened. I look at a
Taurus as a bargain Smith and a Smith as a fancy Taurus.
Taurus made some crap revolvers for about 10 years but
under the new CEO the last 6 or 8 years have been good.
I’ve had six, all were flawless. After various trades I
have the 2″ 856 and a 4″ Tracker left. Quite happy with
both.
I use ammo local PDs use. As someone mentioned, a good
idea. Don’t give the prosecutor a club to beat you with.
All that being said, got a good buddy that was an FO in
two Afganistan tours. He’s a Glocknut. I like to tell
him those are slightly less useful than wingnuts. We do
agree on one thing, Glocks are the AK of the pistol world.
Extremely rare they don’t go bang. And as someone said,
wouldn’t bother me at all to lose it in a tragic canoe
accident while field stripping it
One happy note, the witch is going to be blind in one eye
for the rest of her life. I had a fully detached retina
last year and was in surgery in a week because I’m not an
idiot. Have maybe 35% function in my left eye and get to
learn how to shoot long guns right handed now. Handguns are
much easier right now.
No offense to the Harmy guys but my Nam Marine buddies did
wonders for my education. Eat the food the locals do. How
to construct a proper spider hole, etc. etc. So a shoutout
to Semper Fi and the other Marines on the site.
Puzzler of the day: I never was registered with Selective
Service. Legally. Look up SS history during the Ford
Administration.
Gotta run, Arthur Ritis says that’s enough typing for today.
Be good people. Or at least have fun.

I have a Gen 3 Glock 21SF. Fancied it up with some work on the slide and a dot sight. So of course it’s now useless as a carry gun but still shoots accurately and reliably. For a carry gun in .45 I still can’t beat my Nighthawk GRP as it fits my hand better. Still, that price is a great deal. I think the soon-to-be-ex is just now realizing just how bad she fucked up.
I like Glocks except in a nuclear blast, they’d melt and get stuck to your hand.😁
Texson, so true! As a long time G19 carrier, since 1991, it’s been a real struggle. I have a 1911 with wooden grips for back up. My mamma dint raise no fool! (I hope).
Glad you got a good deal. Hope it works for you.
As to the Ex, if she hurt the dog she will hurt you.
Have to share picks of the Navigator. By all rights I think they are good rides.
