Greetings and Salutations!
A very busy day today which (again) left me mentally frazzled. I swear there’s only so much time int he day that I can compartmentalize some of the retardation I have to deal with, and then it’s like a “NopeNopeNope!” and I have to step a waaaays a away from the phone and KB lest I go full retard and blow up at someone.
I think that’s universal at this point.
So otherwise, I don’t have a LOT of points, political/military/’other’… tonight’s ‘episode’ if you will is sort of just a random collection of some of the stuff I’ve seen this week. On the Krainian Front? Seems that Ivan, after taking Pokrovsk has cut off and surrounded Mirnograd:

The reason this gets filed up under a “Big Fucking Dealski” is that BOTH Pokrovsk and Mirnograd were (past tense) major Krainian Defensive Strongpoints.
Donetsk Oblast has been one of the major objectives of the SMO. Donetsk formed the Donetsk People’s Republic back in 2014 supposedly by “Russian Back Paramilitaries”. What’s interesting is it’s traditionally been primarily a Russian Oblast, both in history, language and location. In fact the five major Oblasts that were in “rebellion” against the Krain which were ‘targeted’ by the “SMO” (Special Military Operation) include parts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, all which have been subject to Russian military operations and occupation.
Now to talk to and/or listen to THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY LIVE there it wasn’t an “occupation” but a liberation. The Russian majority population were under a LOT of pressure, both socially and militarily by the Kiev Junta (and yeah, Krainfeld and the CIA installed bullshit DotGov there is and has been an illegitimate occupation and installed CIA front)
Either way, I’m not going to get into the deeper issues and causes, what I will say is that both Mirnograd and Pokrovsk were BIG defensive centers… the term “Fortress” was used in reference to both cities… and now? Pokrovsk is done, and from the look of it, Mirnograd is only a week or so from completekly falling.
Much like the Battle of Bakhmut and Siege of Mariupol, both locations Bakhmut AND Mariupol were seriously built up as defensive hard-points, and bragged on both by the Krainians and their Enemedia Mouthpieces as “Unconquerable”. And, much like other famous places that were supposed to be unbreakable, Ivan did what Ivan does, which was grind them both down to the nub and destroy them piecemeal.
Granted, in both cases, there were MAJOR casualties on both sides in both battles, with the Krain eventually being wiped the fuck out. Fast forward a few years later, and Ivan, having learned a few lessons and developed a BUNCH of new tactics, has repeatedly done the “surround ’em/FAB-Drone the fuck out of them/mop up the remains” tactics. Ivan is taking his time now… no need to rush… no need to expend troops… just s-l-o-w-l-y move, a wee bit at a time, and once you get a location closed off enough, pull back the troops and drop an extreme metric fuckton of high explosives on anywhere an enemy troop may or may not be, and then send in a few troops to mop up the shell shock survivors (if there are, in fact any.)
Now mind you, this’s going on the entire 1000 mile front. Ivan is moving forward, and judging from all media accounts all around, they’re out of men, money, weapons and almost time. July 2026 is MY call when this wraps up. The only wrinkle is IF the EUroweenies decide to jump in and do something stupid(er) like actually get involved OPENLY. If that happens? All bets are off, and I sure as Hell wouldn’t want to be vacationing ANYWHERE in Europe if their political masters decide to go full retard…
Then…I found this over at John WIder’s place:

I’ve read the whole “shopping cart theory” of who a civilized person is, versus who isn’t. This however is the first time I saw this particular graphic, and I got a kick out of it.
It’s a perfect illustration I think.
And then I found this from Twitter tonight:

Yep.
I’ll just leave that there…
And lastly some bad humor:

That cracked me up.
So More Later
Big Country

I keep hearing from the strategy wonks that the Russians are gonna take Odessa. What do you think, Tiny?
For me, I’m looking at that front line … and Odessa is still a fair bit west of the current front. The Russkies would have to fight all the way there, and then martial the resources to turn Odessa into a cauldron.
Not saying they can’t do it… but I’m not sure they would, given their leisurely pace and restraint they’ve shown so far…
> I keep hearing from the strategy wonks that the Russians are gonna take Odessa. What do you think, Tiny?
Yes, they’re going to take Odessa. It’s only a question of when.
They have to take it to isolate the Kiev regime from the Black Sea.
If I were Putin & Co. I wouldn’t stop until I have annexed Tranistria and have common border with Hungary and Slovakia. That would allow for direct support of Moldovan independence from the EU, as well as allow for a direct pipeline for oil and gas to Eastern Europe a la Hungary and Slovakia. That would undercut the EU’s booshit energy schemes and allow for the Former SSRs to develop their inner-Slav. Can’t imagine Orban or Fico staying on the fence once all that sweet and cheap Russkie earl starts a flowin’. Industrial capacity would develop, as we know those Magyars make superior physicists, and Slovaks have always had a superior arms industry. With cheap energy to offer Vlad can get the band back together without tanks and a 1956 v2.0. Forget learning to code, best learn Cyrillic as there were be plenty of work when Ivan rebuilds his worker’s paradise with hard currency and well-paid workers. The EU and its rule by pathetic phags and women will fade into Caliphate with the remaining whites with gonads having to emigrate or watch their women pop out brown whelps.
Go East, Young Johann!
Wilder’s memes are fantastic.
Still laughing about the junk sign one!
Are there any small enclaves in or near Russia that would be an alternative to the Saipan scenario? It seems Russia is serious about preserving civilized society. While the rest of the West is not.
The trouble with emigrating to Russkieland is that with the current political climate it will likely be a one way trip. Best have a skill, the ability to learn Russian enough to order off a menu and have enough saved to fund a grubstake. Don’t think a Western pension would be something to depend on in the long run. Joining the military, getting veteran status, and getting tight with the Orthodox Church would be the easiest way to get above poverty level. Got to bring something to the table though, as most countries have more than enough of their own minimum wage types. That being said there will be mucho work rebuilding the Donbass, and if you don’t mind studding some Ivanas and adding to the gene pool then there is most definitely a place in the New World Borsht Order. No place for office monkeys and queers though. Thank you Orthodox Jesus. If you don’t mind dealing with the end of the EU, it doesn’t take much to establish Hungarian or Slovak residencies. So for those with Western revenue flows that is a thought.
If I were younger, I would go back to Konigsberg, my father’s home town.
Very modern by Russian standards, and all the younger techie millionaires live there, the Hong Kong of Russia. The surrounding countryside seems as it was in the 1930’s, many old shot up German farms sitting vacant, some were huge brick structures the Russians never cared to rebuild.
Michael Coates is a perfect example of why some of us hate boomers, they supported this shit from the beginning and dont understand that their actions have brought us to this point. Count me in with the people that do NOT believe in the civil rights act or that we are in anyway better with a bunch of stupid ass foreign tards around. Anyone still supporting that absolute bullshit deserves all the contempt and disrespect that can be pilled upon them.
We call them Boomer Bitches. Too bad the Vaxx didn’t get more of them. The End is Near for those Hippie scum. Kumbaya motherf..kers.
Strange thing took place this summer. I’m loading my groceries into the back of my car and minding my own business. I park way out in the parking lot. This big RV has the entire parking lot to maneuver in but instead the driver heads directly towards me almost sandwiching me between the RV and my car.
The driver then loops around my car and pulls his RV diagonally in front of my car and parks. The driver and his family all get out. It was an odd family as they had no kids. I’m now pissed as he almost ran me over so I’m standing at the back of my car watching them as they all get out of their side entry door. None of them look at me and they all walk to the front of the RV and mill about for a minute or so.
They didn’t even look at anything or speak to one another they just assembled around the front of the RV as I’m staring at them the entire time. Without saying anything they all beeline back into the RV.
My shopping carts empty now and it’s not a plastic cart. Normally I take the cart back to the corral but I decided to place the cart under the passenger headlight in the driver’s blind spot. I hope that cart got jammed up under the whole friggan RV. Fuck that bunch of vacation posers.
I lived for a few years in Romulus, MI on the South side of Detroit. Shortly after I arrived, I was exiting a grocery store and I watched one of the native Detroiters unload her shopping cart, close the trunk, and then turn and then launch the shopping cart off in any old direction. I watched it roll and slam into a parked car. Evidently satisfied, she turned, made eye contact with me, and then shrugged. She hopped in her car and drove off. And, that, my friends, was an introduction to “Detroit” culture. I now try to avoid “Detroiters” whenever I can.
A siege is an ancient tactic, but it works, if you have the men and the patience.
