Waiting for the meat to come out of the oven…

Tonight’s dish is Iraqi-Style Kofta again, BUT
With a baked twist so to speak.

The last time I cooked up a selection of Hajji-Meetz, I did it traditionally on an open flame on a skewer. Tonight? Well I got a inspiration off of Twatter of all places…

I mixed up the ded anin-i-mal flesh with the ‘proper’ seasoning(s) I -usually- use, and then instead of using skewers, I put the meetz on parchment paper<\/strong> and rolled that shit thin AF. Like LITERALLY used my OMG awesome rolling pin to roll it out to between 1-2mm thick…. The meat was SAMMICHED between two pieces of the parchment paper when I rolled it flat BTW, which prevented meetz contamination of what would usually<\/strong> be a baking-only rolling pin…

Once I had a LARGE Enough ‘sheet-of-meetz’ I then rolled it up on itself… Pics here after the fact as I was really too busy to track this meal tonight.

In about 5 minutes I have to bail to pull the meetz out, throw it in a bowl, and bake it just a tiny bit more<\/strong><\/em> to get the crisp edges I like…

Silver, despite the attempts closed out at $117.78 and my call is over $120 per ounce tomorrow. Which in itself has it’s challenges, as the Operations Commissar reached out to me today at work (a fellow silver stacker) who told me that locally<\/strong> ALL of the silver dealers\/stealers are shorting the payouts to extreme levels.

Seems he has about 50-60oz of bullion.

ALL of the local buyers\/sellers are offering him $77 an ounce!<\/strong>

Outright thievery and larceny most foul…

WHat the problem is IRL is systemic<\/strong>

FAR too many dealers have sold OUT their stockpiles of silver due to EVERYONE and their brother trying to home in on the “Gain Train” thinking that “What I buy now will double in price shortly!!!” which it very well might.<\/strong>

HOWEVER<\/strong>

Those self-same dealers?
The majority of silver they BOUGHT and subsequently SOLD was done on CREDIT. So ALL of those purchases are going towards paying back said credit.<\/strong> Granted with the market blowing ups so quickly and panically, they can’t afford<\/strong> to take in NEW silver bullion AT ALL as they can’t front the $$$.

The smelters\/refiners are under the same guns so to speak

It’s a ‘silver credit crunch’
And it’ll be going on until some semblance of normalcy in the market is regained. I mean and forgot to mention… the silver rounds I bought at $77 a throw?

They did<\/strong> show up

Valued at $94 a throw at the time of delivery.
Now they’re $117.78
A nice profit IF I can sell when the time is right.

As far as the MARKET today, I took a bath, as did everyone that I can tell. I’m down $25 fiatbux on a $150 investment. I mean I’m long AF so I’m not overly worried, and $150 fiastbux, at the time that I decided to play “Bright Lights\/Big City” games, I could afford it.<\/p>\n\n\n
