Prepping Preps and Other Things (Free Stripper Clips!)

Greetings and Salutations!
Whelp… this weekends plans went out the window… que sera sera, whatever will be, will be. No worries… I mean I live in Florida, so it’s not like I’m going to be down and out for days on the rivers and oceans due to ‘cold weather’…

It is a wee bit of a bummer, but hey… I got plenty of things around here to keep me busy. Which is what happened last night. Dinner was the healthy choice again:

Tuna sammiches with onion and celery, spiced with a pinch of Aleppo Pepper on Publix Mountain Bread. The mayo is a EEVO based flavor, so no seed oils or crap in it (theoretically).

Whilst prepping the chow, I realized that I hadn’t marked the cans in the pantry. This is a no go for that station, as ALL the chow in the 2x pantries are marked for time and clarity.

Month and year, and a letter “T” in case for whatever reason the label get ripped off. “C” for Chicken and y’all know the rest… dealer’s choice as to your preferences.

This way I can rotate the stock… not that the Tuna sticks around too long these days. We tend to eat a LOT of that on the current diet. The canned veggies and all the other ‘stuff’ get the same treatment, which is what I did last night instead of doing a blah-blah-blah w/you guys and gals.

The stuff that I noticed that has the shortest shelf life is of course, the tomato sauces/tomato based ‘stuff’ in general. It’s because of the acidity in the cans that causes it to go bad quicker… and like the Tuna, the tomater sauces don’t get to stick around too long due to regular consumption. It seems we go through a LOT of tomato sauces here…

Between chili and my ‘bottomless pot-o-sauce’ for the raviolis and sketties, I’d say it’s an exceptionally heavy amount we go through…

And I mean it’s something everyone should do if you’re stockpiling chow… especially canned goods. Insuring that your stockpiles are fresh and up-to-date is pretty important.

So that was last night… tonight?
Well… like I said, I’m just sort of irritated.
Got a case of the ass. I had to clean the comforter and sheets and all the bedding as the puppy had a minor ‘oopsie’ on the bed this AM… she managed to get into the bedroom, and woke me up… and I startled when I woke up… like jumped… which in turn made her go a lil bit of wee-wee on the bed… Just enough that warranted a “Hey… fuck it let’s wash everything” sort of moment…

Nothing too severe… just…. irritating….

And work at the People’s Glorious Tractor Factory, well… it actually goes well as a customer poasted a Goolag Review that I had gone ‘above and beyond’ which gives me a $100 bonus this pay period… I can’t be too upset with that right?

That’ll get me a Mickey D’s Large Extra Value Meal and about 10 gallons of gas, and a gallon of milk at current rates right?

Silver broke $50 today at 10am… first time for that ever and gold is on a rise too, closing at over $4k… Silver closed out at $49.43, but the metrics tell me that we’ll see a slide over the next week, depending on the oil situation, as well as some other socio-economic indicators…

I for one am watching the superconductor industry, which is a BIG part of silver’s gains as they need a shitpile of silver to make the Super C’s from my understanding.

And other than that, the Middle East?
Why haven’t we just gassed that whole fucking A.O.?
Sarin.
Lots and LOTS of Sarin.
Turn the place into a dead zone.
Let the corpses rot away, then clear it up, and call it a day.

KILL ALL OF THEM…
…and let <insert Deity of Choice> sort them out.

Be it the weird assed 110 Armed Street Shitter Elephant God or the Burrito Goblin’s Winged Serpent, the Blood Soaked People Eater Quetzalcoatl… even the Modern Born Again Christian Ted Nugent Looking Christ Figure… let he/she/it/them sort that shit out IF ONLY to grant the rest of us normal folks some peace and quiet right?

Truly
I grow weary of some of the dumbassery I see on the regular.
And If -I’m- tired of it, I can only imagine how other feel.
Except NPCs
Because fuck those people.

OH! I do have a giveaway to whomever is interested.
I got 9 more 10-round AK Stripper Clips for reloading purposes. A neighbor hooked me up in trade with a few 30 round AK mags, and I ended up with the strippers after loading them.

They’re a wee bit dusty from sitting on the workbench, but still like new. Drop me a DM line to get them… first come, first serve. CountryOfBigness@proton.me I’ll box ’em up and get them out.

Then… let’s see…
Oh Yes!
Administrative Cuteness:

Found the lil guy on twitter in a Halloween Thread.
THAT made me smile…
Talk about teh cootness overload right?

Sometimes you need to smile.

Otherwise, I’m going to baikl as I’m doing an online webinare course tonight with Mike Shelby from Forward Observer on “Forming a Local Intel Cell” Link is https://forwardobserver.com/intel-cell-webinar/

Not sure if you can get in, and it’s already started…
So far it’s pretty basic but I think a few of y’all are in the audience. Leastways I got a few folks who ‘shouted out’ to me as a known quantity.

  1. Dammit, I went through the whole post and didn’t see one stripper clit. Talk about false advertising. What kinda operation you running here BC?

  2. You’ve spoken of the People’s Glorious Tractor Factory many times BC. It’s possible I’ve missed it in the past, but what is actually produced there? Thanks in advance bro.

  3. Hey BC, love the post. Man, those tomato sauces sure do disappear fast, especially with chili and all that. Can’t blame you for washing the sheets, though a Goolag review bonus? Now that’s a reason to smile! On a serious note, though, what about that Middle East idea? Seems like a plan so wild it just might work! And those stripper clips? Sweet deal, John W.! Just don’t let the NPCs steal them all. Keep shining, Big Country!remove watermarks ai

  4. Sadness. It really blows, watching your family friends grow old and die. Lee Longino, long time funeral director in Ferris, passed away tonight. He was 73 and married to one of my high school classmates. He buried my firstborn when I was 19 and my grandad and grandma. Also my father. Good friends with my brother and sister in law. They went out to eat together two nights ago. Last night he had a massive stroke. Tonight around 10:30, he was gone.

  5. Lately the main driver in gold prices is central bank buying. Believe it or not, Poland checks in at #1 buying twice as much as China in the latest data I’ve seen. After that the usual suspects with Turkey much higher than normal. Possibly a strong motive is to get away from the dollar and strengthen their own currencies.

    1. Devin at the gun store/pawn shop bought a troy of gold for David (owner) for 2400 today. Credit Suisse bar.

  6. Stripper clips are the way to go, as far as being “ready”…
Bandoliers of loaded clips, stored with mags, is way better than long term loaded mags…

    Silver/Gold expert interviewed here :
    https://usawatchdog.com/fiat-currency-experiment-ending-globally-john-rubino/
One expert, of many, worth giving ear to…
You might seek out Bo Polny, Martin Armstrong, Bill Holter, Ed Dowd, Craig Hemke…
All interviewed by Greg Hunter at: USAWATCHDOG.com
These experts all say basically the same thing… Silver is taking off, and the current prices are still
“LOW” when compared to where they’ll be soon…

    1. There is no reason not to leave magazines loaded. Springs break down from being compressed and then relaxed over and over, not from being compressed and left alone.

      1. Yah, that’s the same thing I’ve learned over the years Berg. The repeated cycling breaks the springs down. Now? I just load mags and leave them loaded after testing the mag for functionality. I used to (many years ago) number mags and cycle them. I was wearing them down for no reason. It’s wise to keep a few mag springs available for mags you practice with but I’ve got 50ish loaded AK mags that I only unload and inspect every year or two.

  7. Just a heads up for anyone interested;
Ocean State Job Lots has 12 meal cases of MREs for $30.00 in store. If your in New England, check them out.

  8. If I was in Tampa, I’d be going to that thing Soldier of Fortune has going on. I doubt it’s as much fun as when Col. Brown was there, but I’ll bet it is interesting.

    1. What SOF Thing? What am I missing? May was/is the annual SpecOps meetup in Tampa via McDill but SOF???

      1. I saw them mention it on their twatter account. Didn’t really dwell on the details. I figured you would be all over it.
