‘Hatting up’ and going on an Adventure!
I mean that is one of my favorite things to do!
Just mounting up and head for ‘parts known or vaguely unknown’… I used to do it ALL the time on my way back from Iraq and Afghanistan… Leave a few days early, and head -somewhere- to decompress… maybe meet up with the Other Countries (Lil and Middle) and do something out of the norm… Germany for the most part, but one time Milan Italy where I actually went and had a Versace Leather jacket custom made to my frame… I still have it too…
And yeah it cost a brick of Cee-Notes
But when you’re making $200k a year, a lil -splurge- now and again like that? Abso-lute-ly!!!
Sometimes you just gotta say “What the fuck…”
Like one time we hit Frankfurt am Main and went to the Red Light District… THAT in itself was a hilarious side-quest let me tell you. Middle and I didn’t partake but Lil? Let’s just say he went with his ‘base urges’ and rented not one, but two Nigerian whores for some short time… While he was doing that, Middle Country and I spent our time at one of the small bars they had set up on each floor, shooting the shit with two hawt Krainian Whores… one being a stunning blonde…
We didn’t partake ourselves in any ‘pleasures of the flesh’ so to speak, as we knew that Lil had a propensity for doing ‘stupid shit’ when he was plastered… And sure enough, the evening ended with us doing an exfil ASAP when things went pear shaped… no injuries were acquired (by us) but one of the Nigerians had a big ole bite mark on her left ass cheek that would have matched up remarkably well to Lil’s jawbone, had the Authorities actually caught us…
A well timed can of HC White was a HUGE assist in this instance… Flying in on MilAir had it’s bonuses in that we didn’t get tooo closely checked on our web gear when we left out of Iraq, and since I knew just how hard we tended to party back then, I had it with me in my leather jacket when we left the Hotel room…

Got me the plane tickets, and now I’m looking to figure out where to doss for the two nights I’ll be there. One of you kind readers DM’d me (I’ll be emailing you later sir!) about a Marriot or some such… I might go that route but I am working on some Logistics about having a Bro meet me up from Oregon (Portland specifically) IF I can get ahold of him.

Tonight I’m all caught up on some work, and in the AM weather permitting, I’m going to finish what I started a few weeks ago on the Boat… some touch up painting, and then minor fixes and ‘polishing’ so to speak…

I downloaded and tried Cyberpunk 2077 but just cannot seem to get into it… maybe it’s the 30 minute long cutscenes and the 10 minutes of actual gameplay you know?

The 2077 doesn’t really open up until you get past the spoiler… that was in the fucking trailer for the game. But once you’re on your own, or stuck with Johnny depending on how you look at it, the game opens up and is less “interactive cinema.” Getting Tech guns in 2077 is also pretty hilarious, when you’re posthumously informing assholes “that was concealment, not cover — and my ping hack took away your concealment.”
HC White? What, did someone stick a padlock on the WP locker? Or would that be TOO much smoke? (Yuk yuk). I did pull the trigger on acquiring the CS canisters you recommended, and glad I did, since that shit is getting less theoretical every day.
Have fun at the movie bro. Get a pic of you and Robby if you can to poast when you get back. And watch out for the Monsters of the Id.

Appreciate it Rakkbro… At this point, I’m pretty well set on gear (unless I can come up with the Hebebux to get that M-249S that’s on sale for $10k) and food, weeeell… let’s just say I’m comfy w/what we have going one around here. What I don’t want is to be sitting back and ‘missing the world’ AFTER shit goes sideways and going “I really wish I HAD done < insert crazy idea here >. Not as much regretting something rather than letting an opportunity pass by while such things ARE capable of being done…
Stick with CP2077, it’s slow at first and you have to search for side missions, but that may be the greatest game of all time, something about driving from the beach to the desert with no cut scenes, blowing up gang members and cops the whole way, while the John Wick in your head gives you snide comments, definitely fun
Be sure to do the side quests to build up your skills in 2077. I just did the main quest and now I’m stuck in the Boss fight with the supped up samarai and I’m too weak to beat him.
Another good one is Witcher 3 with Geralt of Rivia. You can tell Henry Cavill was a player.
Think I’ll take a page out of your book tonight and start another round of heavily modified Skyrim.
The goal this time is, using the Flower Girls mod, to screw every female NPC in the game.

130% of a YEAR’S global silver supply was dumped for sale in ONE DAY — and the price for physical metal silver is STILL above $50. On paper, a whole year’s supply of the entire silver mine output for the whole world, – plus 30% more than the whole world produces — was “offered for sale.”
During the course of Friday, 220,082 futures contracts (paper silver) were hurled at the computer screen allegedly “for sale.” Each futures contract equaled 5,000 oz. of silver. That meant **1.1 BILLION oz of synthetic (paper) silver** was put out for sale on the market.
Dumping 130% of a full year’s silver MINING output from the entire world, STILL couldn’t manipulate the price of actual silver metal, lower! ! ! !
This has now caused “Paper panic.”
Physical buyers didn’t blink.

I look at “paper” futures the same way I look at an HOA.
You buy into it, you deserve whatever happens to you.
Nothing but hard silver (junk or rounds), bought with cash, from a local coin shop. It may not be the most “economic” method of buying silver, but it’s relatively anonymous.
The current price spike puts me in mind of when the Hunt brothers came THAT CLOSE to cornering the silver market (80s?), and silver hit $50/oz. And that was when the fiat dollar was worth more.
The reason for the jump isn’t the same, but the end results are.
I carry a troy of silver in my watch pocket. I take it out occasionally and smile. The banksters have been suppressing the price forever, this is just their latest attempt. And paper silver is worthless. They are failing now and skeered shitless. Sux to be them.

Just built my new pc. Haven’t upgraded in a very long time. Was on a i5 4690k @ 4.2ghz with a 1660 super 6 gb gpu and 16gb 2600 ddr3 ram. 10 years that pc kept me going. But time moves on and so does the tech to run it. Just bought the asus B850 mobo, 7600x cpu, 32gb 6000 ram, 7000 speed ssd and a 9070 16gb gpu. All AMD, easily cranking out 165 frames per second in 1440p with most everything turned up in graphics. Looks sweet af on the new 32″ samsung g5 monitor. Red Dead Redemption 2…. get the fuck outta here… it’s like a live action movie now.
