      1. I was class of 77. Well known at the time that the Vikings were in the New World. We read what the f.., we wanted back then. Columbus was some pussy Ital, all he did was bring back the Syph after screwing the local dirtbags. Of course it turned out he was an undercover small hat, but that’s another story. Vikings were cool, and the boys of that time were more interested in the history of rape and pillage than spaghetti sauce. With that in mind we read from the military slant, which was the Vikings lacked the superior tech to overcome the numerical advantage of the Skraelings, or whatever the untermensch was called back then. Add the wonders of small pox and the New World was up for grabs. Too bad Eric the Red and his offspring lacked a germ warfare lab and blanket distributing network.

   3. The town I grew up in Hampton NH had some VERY interesting ‘markers’ if you will behind the local elementary school. Marston Elementary. BIG granite rocks that’ve been there since time began AND have Viking sigils carved into them, to include one that essentially says “Leif wuz here!”.

      These as far as I know are legitimate from all research done by the University of NH. The assumtion is they passed through the A.O. and left some markers. The local “Skraelings” would have been the Abenaki and Winnacunnet Indians that inhabited the area, and were known to be hostile even when the town was settled in the 1630s. LOTS of history there…

      Because of this OUR history classes were a bit more ‘inclusive’ of the Viking theory as we had local proof to actually go and look at.

            A place in Hampton is on the National Historic Register. It’s called the Taylor House, and is one that shows the ‘scars’ so to speak… The Taylors were among tyhe original settlers back in the day… It’s a pre revolutionary war original structure with bunkers below ground (‘root cellars’ as they call them now in a PC way), and all the ‘needful’ things that the colonists needed back then.. Absolutely cool stuff as the assistant teacher I had in First Grade was Ms. Taylor who was the direct descendant of the fam, and still lived in the ‘Taylor House’…

Not sure we as a nation formed of Americans are yet pressed into the corner from which springs a grand re-ordering of politics and society, but there sure are a lot of people utterly lacking self control and the ability to reason out possible outcomes for actions taken. There are a lot of good folk, hard working and upright with a huge variation in skin coloration, have been privileged to work with many over the past 50 years.

   It is the mindless rage of those who operate impulse that are going to cause a lot of needless suffering unless there is a real ocean wave change in how things get done in a way that empowers the individual over the power hungry grifters.

   As a very wise man once said, the R party is not the solution to all problems, but the D party in it’s current form is absolutely the cause of most problems. Act locally accordingly.

5. Those who like to proclaim there are good and bad individuals of all hues are deliberately muddying the waters. Sure, all decent people would like to judge others individually – based on words, actions, and experience. But we cannot get to know everyone that way, and we were created with the gift of pattern recognition to make sense of a complex world. We were taught that good people had discriminating taste – the ability to separate the good from the bad and make wise choices. Using averages, means, and knowledge of widespread historical experiences helps us make better than random judgement in new situations with unknown individuals. We all know the statatistic (IQ, criminality, rape, etc.). We all have our own less than satisfactory experiences with other races, and/or know friends and family who’ve had theirs. We are not concerned with the mythical ‘x’ percent of supposedly good and godly and law-abiding and loving people of dusky hues. We all see and deal with the violence, the lack of impulse control, the noise, the chaos, that the vast majority of these people bring to daily life.

   Most of them openly admit to having no internal voice or life of the mind – they don’t even comprehend what that is. I do not consider them to be fully human with human souls. A semi-sentient subspecies that is violent and dangerous is not one to ‘compromise’ with or make agreements with. It is a group to shun, avoid, and delete from one’s existence in the interests of peace and safety. Call me whatever names you wish; I have the reason and experience God gifted me with, and I will continue to use both to judge and advise others. And churchians – spare me your misuse of ‘don’t judge’ from the Bible – that’s in no way what Jesus said. I am well aware of my own manifold failings – but that does not mean I will close my eyes to those of others, particularly those of alien and hostile races.

      When I was a kid, my best friend was black and his parents and my parents were the best of friends.

      2. Wrong. I’m an old lady and grew up in the 60’s and 70’s. You claim the blacks you knew as a youth would behave because of their parents’ and grandparents’ discipline. Where do you think that came from? It wasn’t from Africa or black history. It was because the parents and grandparents knew that Whites back then would come down hard on black misbehavior. They didn’t instill discipline because it was ‘their values’ or because they were married; they did it to avoid the wrath and law of the White man.

         Everyone can claim to know an IKAGO – I’ve known some myself. But I don’t make the foolish error of assuming they are anything more than rare exceptions. 6. I spent around 5 years managing bank branches and that is why I pretty much never use debit cards. Our current bank ended up closing my debit card because I never used it. With a credit card you get some insulation between your money in the bank and fraud and that saves a ton of headaches. Of course you have to be responsible with it but you also won’t get an email from the bank saying you are overdrawn. With every store full of pajeets, goat humpers and 2Gs, no sense giving them a more or less direct line to your bank account.

   1. We make minimal use of our debit card, but a lot of our credit cards (pay the bill of each month and earn the bonus cash/points). One exception – one of our visits back to Texas not long after we moved, I made the mistake of opening up a store credit card (Kohls) to get the discount. No fraud, but immediately thereafter got a few ‘jeet phone calls (not a single one before that at our new-t0-us phone number). I called and complained vociferously and cancelled the card as soon as I got the bill. Not a single call again in the 20 months since. Not one – whereas I used to get half a dozen a day back in DFW. I’ve never had to replace my debit card – when we joined a gym that insisted on an account for automatic withdrawal, we set up a separate bank account just for that. No access to our main checking account for anyone ever.

      i’m in europe where almost every government and of course the brussels commissars as well, are trying hard to outright ban any use of cash anywhere.. and while many people have grudgingly gone along with this and that restriction or mandate etc and started using plastic in the past 3-5 years (before that almost everyone was pretty well against plastic, not just neutral) because of the draconian enforcement, even now there are a lot of people who go out of their way with extra efforts to use cash whenever possible. every time i visit the states, or have relatives/friends from the states visit me here, i see them using plastic for every last little thing, and i DO lecture them saying you people still have the freedom to use cash without all this crap we have here (like 500 euro max limits on cash transactions and the inability to pay any official (e.g. taxes) bills with anything but digibits!) , why are you willingly feeding your enemy by always using plastic?
      every time i hear a story like this my answer is ‘was there any really good reason for not just using cash everywhere? seriously?’

11. There’s exactly four ATM machines in my AO that I use my debit card at, otherwise it lives inside an RFID sleeve, inside an RFID wallet, and doesn’t come out. Everything else is done via the credit card. Cancelled all but one credit card after, though process of elimination, I found that one of the local utilities has someone in their payment office who was lifting credit card numbers off the automated payment line. Now they get paid by check only.
    It’s taken several years to break The Dear Wife of her “pay everything with the debit card” habit and get her to use cash or her credit card instead. We’re to the point now that she doesn’t even use hers debit card at all, when she needs cash I make the withdrawal on my card & hand it to her. Had someone spoof the credit union’s phone number during covid and try to access the account which was the impetus to go full paranoid with the access to our finances.
